Each a respected artist on the case-by-case level, DJ RJD2 (born Ramble John Krohn) and MC Blueprint (Prince Albert Shepard) first gear came together as Soul Position in 2001 in Columbus, OH. In 2002 they released a six-song EP, Inexhaustible, which was followed the side by side year by the full-length 8 Million Stories on the Minneapolis-based Rhymesayers label. In 2006 the group issued their second album, Things Go Better with RJ and Al.
